Michelle is a honorary graduate in Theology - a fascination for Michelle which fulfilled some of life's philosophical
questions. During these studies Michelle discovered 'yoga' as an exercise class. For the next 10 years,
Michelle often came back to yoga in various forms and methods always searching for something but rarely
feeling satisfied
In 2009 Michelle changed her life and moved to Basel to start a new exciting journey and discovered
the Jivamukti method. Through daily practice Michelle learnt self-discipline, balance and harmony, how to
heal and strengthen mind and body and how to reconnect to herself: "it made me a better friend, daughter,
co-worker and partner - it's a beautiful gift to give to yourself and extends out to those you love"
Within a year Michelle had completed the Jivamukti Yoga® 350-Hour Teacher Training Certification
in New York studying under the guidance of Sharon Gannon, David Life, Lady Ruth Lauer Manenti,
Gabriela Bozic and Manorama. Having also studied with Yogaswari, Mark Whitwell and may other
renowned teachers, Michelle is passionate to pass on the teachings of her lineage and to help others
to be compassionate for the well being of all creatures sharing our Earth.
Classes incorporate the classic elements of the Jivamukti method: chanting, to help students find their true
voice; lessons drawing from ancient texts with modern, relevant commentary; challenging, flowing asana class;
and the tranquility of meditation.
