We primarily teach classes and workshops based on the Hatha yoga method and Vinyasa Yoga. Yoga practice comes from essential Elements of alignment, body, structure, energy and meditation. Alongside the integral combination of methods, philosophy and anatomical understanding provide the follower with a wholly fulfilled and rewarding practice.
The training is designed for yoga practitioners who want to deepen their knowledge and refine their individual practice. We focus in this training on the methodic and didactic. Therefore we will answer those questions:
- how can I reach the students as yoga teacher?
- how can I support students on the path?
- how can I develop my practice and still be authentic as a yogi and as a teacher?
- how can I handle with difficult situations?
We will learn about different aspects of Being Yoga Teacher, like verbal and body language, HandOns and integration of heart based theme in the practice.
Prerequisites & Requirements
No formal experience is required to enroll in the Devin Yoga Teacher Training program. However, we do recommend that you have had at least one year of regular practice
prior to the start of the course. Participating in this training will be a profound experience, taking you to places in your body and mind that you never thought possible.
A flexible body free of injuries is NOT a requirement for this training. In fact, WE ENCOURAGE people with all body types and those with physical challenges to consider this program. At its heart, yoga is a practice of meeting the body where it is, and then working with the body to slowly and respectfully move deeper.
In order to graduate from this program you will need to attend at least 90% of all scheduled classes, pass a final exam, practice a minimum of 100-hours and complete observation and assistance by your mentor.
